Description:
On discus: gladiator r., sword in r. hand, shield covering l. arm. Faint palm-branch to r.

Heart-shaped nozzle. Planta pedis mark.

Manufacture: Mould made.

Notes:
Cf. BMC III, Q3089; Walters, 1136; Bussière & Lindros Wohl, 419.


Comments:
Probably a victorious murmillo. He wears a crested helmet, holds a gladius (straight sword) and a long rectangular shield. The palm-branch represents victory.
