Etruscan terracotta antefix

Period: Etruscan

Origin: Italy

Date: 4th - 3rd centuries BC


Etruscan large terracotta antefix, formed as anthemion, the petals outlined in black pigment. The sides retaining dark red paint.

Size: 13.2 cm high x 12.5 cm wide

Condition: Broken off at base, with chips and losses as seen.
